After Invasive Species and L’Infini Turbulent, Tamar Kasparian returns once again to the aquatic universe with Blue Gold, an ode to water, the element intrinsically linked to plants and life. In this series of drawings and watercolours on paper as well as oil paintings and ceramics, the colour blue is omnipresent. The works are like windows into small but teeming universes.
The Blue Gold series developed in the studio alongside the Sécheresse/Sequia ceramics series. Both respond to one another like Earth and Sea, Fire and Water. They are nourished by the observation of nature and its changes in recent years (global warming, destruction of ecosystems).

The Blue Gold series developed in the studio alongside the Sécheresse/Sequia ceramics series. Both respond to one another like Earth and Sea, Fire and Water. They are nourished by the observation of nature and its changes in recent years (global warming, destruction of ecosystems).
The Blue Gold series is also inspired by memories, emotions, notions such as the “oceanic feeling” and the musical creations of Patrick Graham and Sarah Pagé (who initiated a multidisciplinary, collaborative project in 2020, with an album to be released in the Autumn of 2024).

Après Espèces Invasives et L’Infini Turbulent, Tamar Kasparian revient encore une fois vers l’univers aquatique avec Blue Gold, une ode à l’eau, intrinsèquement liée au végétal et à la vie. Avec des variations de bleu omniprésentes, cette série faite de dessins et aquarelles sur papier ainsi que de peintures à l’huile et de céramiques, plonge dans la profondeur marine, ouvrant ainsi des fenêtres sur de petits univers foisonnants.

ode aan het water, onlosmakelijk verbonden is met planten en leven. Met de alomtegenwoordige variaties van blauw
duikt deze reeks tekeningen en aquarellen op papier, maar ook olieverfschilderijen en keramiek, in de diepte van de
zee en geeft uitzicht op kleine, krioelende werelden.
